AUDIENCE RESEARCH

The Brief states a ‘fun-loving’ audience of a mass market demographic of 16-25 year olds.

In my ideas I want to reflect this through the interests of my audience (as reflected in the mood board). The intense amounts of colour and abstract fashion and unique locations reflects the interest and aesthetic of the audience. The fun-loving aspect for me reflects an audience that would be interested in unique songs and videos, possibly more modern than traditional. The young adult targeted demographic implies a more upbeat modern musical genre as opposed to classical, rock or country genres, possibly narrowing the type of music to choose. 

I want my video to reflect a more modern interpretation of mise-en-scène and clothing to adhere to the brief. 

This is a mood board reflecting the audience demographic I want to target that adheres to the brief. The fun-loving target audience is represented as the psychographic of explorer and aspirer. To adhere to the brief, the mass market audience demographic is represented as the psychographic of mainstreamer to help target a wide range of audiences. This is reflected in the mainstream social media represented through Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr.
